The Visuals

CASA VANDA

Casa Vanda follows a Tropical Modern approach, where precise geometry is balanced with natural materials.

The structure is defined by horizontal planes and extended slabs that create depth and shade, while also giving the residence a strong and recognizable identity. Large expanses of glass frame the canal and allow the main areas to extend outward, reinforcing the relationship between the built form and its surroundings.

A staircase framed by a vertical window becomes part of the arrival sequence, introducing light into the interior and organizing circulation without dominating the space. This is complemented by a defined architectural wall that reinforces the overall language of the project.

THE Project

Casa Vanda features six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms across 6,210 square feet, including 4,800 square feet of interior space.

The property sits on a 9,185 square foot lot with 50 feet of waterfront.

Vanda Orchid

Casa Vanda is built around a simple idea: lifting the architecture to expand how the property is experienced.

The result is a three-story composition where the ground floor remains open and active, while the primary spaces are positioned above to capture views, privacy, and natural airflow.

The concept draws from the Vanda orchid, known for growing suspended, translated into a structure that feels balanced, open, and connected to its surroundings.

Material Selection balances Structure and Warmth.

Exposed concrete defines the framework, while wood and composite finishes introduce a contrasting element. Integrated planters soften transitions, and large glass panels maintain a constant visual connection to the exterior.

The kitchen features MiaCucina appliances, fully integrated into the overall design.

Belmar, Miami

Belmar offers a distinct residential atmosphere shaped by its canal system and low-density layout.

Water is an integral part of everyday life, not only through its visual presence but also through the relationship between streets, docks, and homes. The street-facing dock reinforces this connection, creating a more open and interactive neighborhood.

The result is a calm setting with the character of a private marina, while remaining close to Miami Beach, the Design District, and major connections.
